Billy Bob’s Texas
The episode opens with a young Beulah (Rebeca Robles) going to Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth.
Beulah’s visit is in August 1981, which is just a few months after the venue opened that April.
Billy Bob’s is known as “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk” and has 100,000 square feet of entertainment. There’s more than 30 bar stations, a bull-riding area, a Texas-sized dance floor and a stage that’s welcomed some of the biggest names in country music.
Six Flags Over Texas
At 3:21, Beulah talks to a guy who says he’s a “mechanic for the Shock Wave” at Six Flags.
The Shock Wave coaster was introduced in 1978 and is still rolling to this day at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.
Fredericksburg
At 17 minutes, Oreana’s (Natalie Alyn Lind) new boyfriend Harrison (Matthew Erick White) mentions he’s working on a new construction project in Fredericksburg.
Fredericksburg is a city located in Central Texas.
Founded by German immigrants in 1846, Fredericksburg is known for its scenic views and prevalence of wineries.
