In new ‘Dutton Ranch’ episode: Texas university, Fort Worth motel and more
“Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch” filmed its first season all around North Texas.
The Paramount+ show follows Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler on a new adventure in the fictional South Texas town of Rio Paloma. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their “Yellowstone” roles, along with Finn Little as their adopted son Carter.
Several Fort Worth and other North Texas locations and references appeared in the first four episodes of “Dutton Ranch.”
Here’s a look at all the locations and references featured in season 1, episode 5, “Peaceful Find Peace,” which aired on Friday, June 5 on Paramount+ and the Paramount Network.

Saunders Ranch
The episode opens with Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) at their ranch.
The location has appeared throughout the show and is filmed at the Saunders Ranch in Weatherford (4400 Old Dennis Road).
Established in 1934, the ranch is still operating today under the leadership of Thomas Saunders V. The Saunders family has been raising cattle in Texas since the 1850s.
Texas A&M
At 3:09, Joaquin (Juan Pablo Raba) is seen wearing a Texas A&M shirt.
Texas A&M is located in College Station, about 175 miles south of Fort Worth.
Marc Menchaca, who plays Zachariah, graduated with an English degree from the school in 1998.
La Mirage Inn
At 49:08, Rob-Will (Jai Courtney) visits Chet (Hart Denton) at a motel.
This was filmed in west Fort Worth at La Mirage Inn (9600 Palo Pinto Road).
