Play golf courses from all over the world at this new spot coming to Fort Worth
A new golf entertainment facility will open in Alliance Town Center next year, where golfers can virtually play famous courses like Pebble Beach and TPC Sawgrass.
This facility is not like Top Golf, where you are hitting balls into a driving range. It’s an enclosed space with virtual courses.
Plans for a nearly 5,110-square-foot X Golf space will be located at 9409 Sage Meadow Trail in Fort Worth. In addition to six golf simulators and a putting green, X Golf also serves a full bar and bar food bites.
If you want to try X Golf before it opens in Fort Worth, there are a few other DFW locations in Frisco and Rockwall.

What is X Golf simulation?
X Golf is a golf simulator facility where customers can play courses around the world, take lessons and practice their shots and play in leagues and tournaments.
Yes, customers still hold a club and hit a golf ball.
X Golf uses cameras, lasers and sensors with screens to simulate a golf course. This software, called the Nex System, measures the ball flight and speed and where the club hits the ball, and then delivers feedback to the golfer.
Virtual golf simulation is a practice used by PGA professionals to improve their game by receiving automated feedback instantly.
How much does it cost to play at X Golf?
It has not been determined exactly what prices will be like at the new X Golf in Fort Worth.
However, this is how it works at other DFW locations:
- Rates are charged per simulator.
- Six people per simulator.
- 18 holes equals one hour per person.
- Bring your own clubs for free or rent from X Golf for $15.
- Sunday to Thursday: $50 an hour.
- Friday and Saturday: $60 an hour.
- Book a minimum of one hour and add 30 to 60 minute increments.
For golf lessons:
- 30-minute video analysis: $79.
- Single lesson: $160.
- Three lessons: $299.
- Four lessons: $469/month.
- 10 lessons: $990.
