Rams linebacker Nate Landman says he would ‘love’ to appear in the show ‘Landman’

It’s unclear if Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” will return for a third season, but if it does, there’s an NFL player looking to join the cast.

The Paramount+ series filmed season 2 in and around Fort Worth from March to August and will premiere on Nov. 16. The oil industry series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia and Sam Elliott.

After the Los Angeles Rams beat the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 14, Ram’s linebacker Nate Landman did a post-game interview with CBS Sports.

During the interview, NFL hall of famer Bill Cowher said if Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones can appear in the series, he wants Landman to appear in “Landman” season 3.

“I’d love that,” Landman replied. “I love the show too. I’m excited for the second season to come out. Definitely put that word in there for me.”

The Thornton-led series premiered on Paramount+ in November 2024 and wrapped its 10-episode first season on Jan. 12. The drama is co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, who created the “Boomtown” Texas Monthly podcast that the show is based on.

All episodes of “Landman” season 1 are streaming on Paramount+.
