Netflix House theme park sets opening date at Dallas mall. Here’s what to expect

Netflix has set an opening date for its upcoming North Texas theme park.

The streaming service announced last year that a permanent entertainment venue named Netflix House is coming to Galleria Dallas (13350 Dallas Parkway). Now, about 14 months later, Netflix has announced that the venue will open on Dec. 11, 2025.

Dallas’ Netflix House, which will span more than 100,000 square feet, will be free to enter and explore, with a mix of complimentary and paid experiences.

“Take selfies with beloved characters like Queen Charlotte [from ‘Bridgerton’], enjoy screenings of hit movies like ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ have a meal and a cocktail at Netflix Bites or embark on an adventure with friends, channeling the ‘One Piece’ crew,” the company wrote in a news release.

What to expect at Netflix House in Dallas

Dallas’ Netflix House will launch with a couple experiences from two of the service’s most popular shows — “Squid Game” and “Stranger Things.”

“Squid Game: Survive the Trials” puts fans into the arena as they play “diabolical” games, face off against the “Front Man” and betray their friends for a chance to win it all. The third and final season of the Korean survival thriller series premiered in June.

“Stranger Things: Escape the Dark” puts fans into an immersive experience as they journey into the ruins of Hawkins to find three missing townspeople, while avoiding the lurking horror within. The fifth and final season of the 1980s sci-fi series will premiere in November.

In addition, the “Netflix RePLAY” game room will have physical challenges, immersive story rooms and retro-style games. A few of the projects featured in the room include “Big Mouth,” “Love is Blind,” “Floor is Lava” and “Army of the Dead.”

The Dallas venue will also have a casual restaurant called “Netflix Bites,” which will serve food and craft cocktails playing on the service’s popular stories and characters. There will also be a shop selling exclusive merchandise.

More on Netflix House

In addition to Dallas, Netflix announced that a Philadelphia location will open on Nov. 12.

Fans can expect experiences based on “Wednesday” and “One Piece,” along with playing show-inspired mini-golf courses and virtual reality games. The Philadelphia location will also have a “Tudum Theater,” where fans can catch the latest Netflix project on the big screen.

A Las Vegas location is also in the works for a targeted opening in 2027.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has opened an experience in North Texas.

Three years ago in summer 2022, Netflix opened a “Stranger Things” experience at Grapevine Mills mall in support of the show’s fourth season. The pop-up store allowed fans to browse popular locations from the show, along with buying exclusive merchandise.

Netflix also collaborated with Sandbox VR, which has a location in Fort Worth, on a game based on “Squid Game.”
