The 62-year-old action star announced his Lone Star State visit in a social media video posted Thursday morning. The film’s global press tour officially kicked off this week in Japan, with other stops planned in France, New York, Mexico City, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

Cruise’s first stop in Texas on May 22 will be at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, followed by a trip to Dallas, where the actor said he’s looking forward to eating some “delicious barbecue.”

Whichever theater Cruise plans to visit, he said he can’t wait to meet fans.

“We’ll see you at the movies,” Cruise said on social media.
