‘The Chosen’ season 5 premieres this weekend. Here’s where to watch it in Fort Worth

The first part of the hotly anticipated fifth season of “The Chosen” premieres in North Texas this weekend.

Based on the life of Jesus, season 5 of the drama series covers Holy Week and the Last Supper. The eight-episode season will release in theaters in three parts. The first part (episodes one and two) releases March 28.

Last week, “The Chosen” held its season 5 premiere and black (not red) carpet in Red Oak, about 43 miles southeast of Fort Worth. The series is filmed at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, about 35 miles south of Fort Worth.

When do the other parts of ‘The Chosen’ season 5 release?

After “The Chosen” season 5 part one premieres in theaters on March 28, the subsequent parts will release over the next couple weeks.

Part two (episodes 3-5) will release in theaters on April 4 and part three (episodes 6-8) a week later on April 11. All parts will remain in theaters until Easter Sunday on April 20 and will release on streaming later this year.

The first four seasons of “The Chosen” are streaming on Prime Video.
