Time to dig in, sip and savor this year’s Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival
Bring your appetite and palate, then dig in at this year’s Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival.
The four-day festival, which celebrates North Texas’ thriving culinary and beverage community, is set for Thursday, March 31 through Sunday, April 3 at various restaurants and other locations around Cowtown.
Enjoy a diverse range of tastes and styles prepared by talented chefs and culinary artists in the area, plus wine and craft beverages.
It’s your chance to support local restaurants, bars and small businesses amid Fort Worth’s growing culinary scene.
And it’s for a good cause. All proceeds from the event go to the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for local grant programs and culinary scholarships. The foundation has raised more than $200,000 for Fort Worth culinary students.
Events at the festival include Tacos + Tequila, Nite Bites, Culinary Corral, Burgers, Brews + Blues and more.
General admission tickets for the various events start at $60. Your ticket covers all the food and drinks you can consume (responsibly, of course) at each event.

Fort Worth council set to vote on final redistricting map
The Fort Worth City Council gave initial approval to a new redistricting map March 23, but residents have one last chance to weigh in before council votes on its formal adoption.
The council will vote on the final map at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29 where voters can give feedback.
The new map is designed to ensure adequate representation for Hispanics on the council to better reflect the city’s rapidly diversifying population.
A “horseshoe” feature will connect east Fort Worth to South Side neighborhoods such as Rosemont, Worth Heights and Hemphill and will create two strong Hispanic districts in the city.
