Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten added to Pro Bowl
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is heading to the Pro Bowl for a team-record tying 11th time.
He is headed to the game as a replacement for the Super Bowl-bound Zach Ertz of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Pro Bowl is Sunday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
Witten’s 11th appearance in 15 years ties him with Hall of Fame defensive tackle Bob Lilly for most in Cowboys history.
Witten, 35, caught 63 passes for 560 yards and five touchdowns in 2017.
Witten will join four other Cowboys on the NFC squad at the Pro Bowl. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, left tackle Tyron Smith and right guard Zack Martin were all named starters. Center Travis Frederick is a reserve.
