The Cowboys led the Washington Redskins 17-7 the half. Dallas had scored 15 points combined over the past three games — all losses. The Redskins scored a touchdown with 59 seconds left in the half.
Switzer capped off the scoring run by doing a somersault into the end zone.
It’s Switzer’s first career punt return for a touchdown. It’s the first punt return for a touchdown for the Cowboys since Dwayne Harris scored on an 86-yard punt return in 2013.
