Cowboys LB Justin Durant activated off NFI list
Justin Durant is ready to get back into football activities.
The Dallas Cowboys activated Durant off the non-football injury list on Monday, and he was expected to partake in a few drills. Durant, 31, had been working on the side since the start of training camp because he did no offseason work with the team and signed in July.
Durant dealt with an elbow injury last season, but said he is ready to go after Monday’s walkthrough session.
Durant, 31, played in 13 games with the Cowboys last season. He was credited with 54 tackles, one sack, six quarterback pressures and four passes defensed. He has spent three of the past four seasons with the Cowboys, playing the 2015 season with Atlanta.
