Here are the five things you need to know about Mavs draft pick Luka Doncic

The 2018 NBA Draft is finally in the books.

And the Mavericks came away with a solid haul, including Luka Doncic. In order to acquire the EuroLeague star, they traded Trae Young and a future first round pick to the Atlanta Hawks.

Mark Cuban and the front office selected Villanova standout Jaylen Brunson with the No. 33 pick, as well as Kostas Antetokounmpo with the final pick in the draft.

But this space is reserved for Doncic. Here's what you need to know about the he international man of mystery.

5. What number will he wear?

He'll don the number 77. As of yet, there's no word on why. He wore No. 7 with Real Madrid.

4. Where is he from and how old is he?

Doncic is from Ljubljana, Slovenia and he only turned 19 this past February.

3. Where did he play and what did he accomplish?

He may be young, but the precocious talent has been playing professional basketball in the EuroLeague as a member of Real Madrid for the past four seasons.

He is the youngest recipient of the EuroLeague MVP and EuroLeague Final Four MVP awards. His team also won the EuroLeague title this past season.

2. Just how tall is he?

This one is a bit off a quagmire. Most list him at around 6-foot-7. Some others have him at 6-foot-8. A few have him at 6-foot-9.

1. What position will he play?

Coming into the draft, most assumed he was a do-it-all guard. And while he still has plenty of skills, he might be a better fit with the Mavericks at the small forward position. However, his defensive game at that spot will need some work.
