You don’t want to look away when Rangers’ slugger Joey Gallo is at the plate. It doesn’t matter if it’s in a game or during batting practice, something special could happen.

On Wednesday, Gallo ripped a 466-foot shot over the big center field backdrop at Minute Maid Park. It’s tied for the 11th longest homer this season, according to Statcast. Earlier in the season, Gallo fouled a ball out of Globe Life Park during a game.

Before Friday’s game in Arlington, Gallo hit another amazing shot to add to his legend.

Rangers’ public address announcer Chuck Morgan posted footage of Gallo’s batting practice homer that hit the base of the video board high atop the right field porch.

The unofficial Statcast estimate: Ridiculous.
