Texas Rangers set 2017 spring training schedule
The Texas Rangers will play 36 games during spring training, including two exhibitions at Globe Life Park the weekend before Opening Day. They will open their 33-game Cactus League campaign Feb. 25 with the annual charity game against the Kansas City Royals, who share the Surprise Recreation Campus with the Rangers.
The Rangers will also close out Cactus League play against the Royals on March 29, and the two will play March 31 and April 1 at Globe Life Park as a final tuneup for the regular season. The Rangers open the season April 3 at home against the Indians.
