Colonial tee times: Spieth paired with fellow champs; Fowler, Rahm together
The tee times have been set for the opening two rounds of the Fort Worth Invitational. And fans shouldn't be disappointed.
Jordan Spieth is in a marquee group, playing with reigning champion Kevin Kisner and 2009 winner Steve Stricker. That group will tee off No. 10 at 8:06 a.m. on Thursday, and No. 1 at 1:06 p.m. on Friday.
That group is preceded by another headline group of Jon Rahm, Rickie Fowler and Bryson DeChambeau. Rahm is fourth in the world rankings, and Fowler is sixth. That pairing goes off No. 10 at 7:55 a.m. Thursday, and off No. 1 at 12:55 p.m. Friday.
Justin Rose, ranked fifth in the world, is part of a standout afternoon group. He'll be joined by Aaron Wise, who won the AT&T Byron Nelson last week, and Zach Johnson, a two-time Colonial winner and two-time major winner. They'll tee off No. 1 at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, and off No. 10 at 7:55 a.m. Friday.
That group will be followed by a a couple U.S. Open winners, Webb Simpson and Brooks Koepka, and a former Colonial winner and Masters champion, Adam Scott, at 1:06 p.m. This group will go off No. 10 at 8:06 a.m. Friday.
