Kennedale running back strikes the Heisman pose, Wildcats up 26-7 in 4A state semis
With one win away from their first state championship berth, it doesn’t appear the Kennedale Wildcats have the jitters.
Junior RB DJ Kirven got off a 60-yard run on Kennedale’s second drive then capped it off with an 8-yard TD run - striking the Heisman pose to celebrate.
The Wildcats have poured it on, leading 26-7 at halftime vs. Stephenville in the 4A Division I state semifinals on Friday night at AT&T stadium.
Senior RB Jaden Knowles has added TD runs of 36 and 46 yards and QB Evan Jowers threw a 23-yard TD pass to WR Jaden Smith.
At the break, Kirven has rushed for 173 yards while Knowles has added 85 yards.
