Mansfield Timberview can’t keep pace with balanced Frisco Lone Star

Frisco Lone Star went to 2-0 on the season in a 45-21 win on Friday night over Mansfield Timberview at Vernon Newsom Stadium in Mansfield. The Rangers jumped out to an early lead and held off a late Mansfield Timberview surge. Senior quarterback MJ Rivers scored four rushing touchdowns. Running back Kirby Bennett III added 103 yards rushing on the night, including one touchdown. The Rangers defense contained the Timberview offense, forcing three fumbles and recovering two in the victory.
