Everman handed worst loss since 1998 as The Colony romps
The Colony used a balanced offense, scoring on its first four drives of the game, to roll past Everman 47-7 in a nondistrict game Friday at Tommy Briggs Cougar Stadium.
Key players: Everman wide receiver SirDexter Gay had three receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. The Colony sophomore quarterback Mickey Harrington threw three touchdown passes and had 204 yards of total offense.
Key Stat: The Colony handed Everman the Bulldogs their worst loss since a 50-6 defeat to eventual state champion Stephenville in 1998.
