Johnathan Presley, who has autism, gets his chance to play RB for Abilene Cooper
Johnathan Presley found out he was autistic when he was 3-years-old. Now a senior at Abilene Cooper, that hasn’t stopped his dream of playing football.
The Abilene Reporter-News did a story on Presley in March. On Friday in a scrimmage with San Angelo Central, he got a chance to score a touchdown.
Both teams allowed Presley to score and after crossing the goal line, Cooper and Central congratulated and hugged one another, and showed great sportsmanship.
