Top six schools for this Denton Guyer basketball prospect
Denton Guyer 2019 small forward Jalen Wilson is one of the top basketball players in the country.
The 6-foot-7 and 4-star recruit narrowed his college choice to six of the top programs in the nation: Baylor, Marquette, Michigan, Oklahoma State, UCLA and Kansas.
According to 247Sports, Wilson holds 16 offers. He's the No. 8 small forward and No. 28 overall prospect in the nation, and the third best player in the state.
He's projected to commit with Michigan, per 247Sports.
Wilson helped Guyer to a 38-2 record this past season and a trip to the Class 6A Region I tournament. The Wildcats topped the charts as the No. 1 team in the country, per Max Preps.
Wilson averaged a team-high 16.2 points and added 6.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He shot 54 percent from the field and 40 percent from behind the arc.
