TCU Horned Frogs debut at No. 14 in USA Today Coaches Poll
TCU is ranked 14th in the Amway USA Today Coaches Poll, the Horned Frogs’ ninth preseason ranking in 11 years.
The Horned Frogs were No. 7 in the final poll last season after going 11-2. They return 13 starters (six offense, seven defense) along with an additional six starters (two offense, four defense) who had season-ending injuries last year.
TCU began fall practices Thursday. The season opener is Sept. 3 at home against South Dakota State.
The Frogs were picked second in the Big 12 media poll.
Alabama is No. 1.
