Electric athlete Barber signs with TCU
TCU gained another potential multi-purpose athlete with the signing of Taye Barber, a three-star player from Cypress in the mold of Horned Frogs speedsters KaVontae Turpin and Kenedy Snell.

Barber is listed as an athlete in evaluations by 247Sports.com, which pegs him the 42nd-rated such player in the nation.
Barber told Hero Sports in a July interview that the chance to emulate former TCU receiver/returners such as Jeremy Kerley played a role in his commitment.
Barber also had offers from Clemson and Oklahoma State.
