TCU entered the Associated Press Top 25 at No. 23 this week after opening with a 63-0 win over Jackson State.

It’s the first time the Horned Frogs have been in the poll since Sept. 25, 2016. TCU has now been ranked in the AP Top 25 for at least one week for 13 consecutive seasons since 2005.

Oklahoma is the top-ranked Big 12 school at No. 5, up two spots from the pre-season rankings. Oklahoma State dropped a spot to No. 11 despite beating Tulsa 59-24. Kansas State moved up one spot to No. 19. No. 10 Florida State and No. 22 Florida are the only teams with losing records. The Seminoles lost to No. 1 Alabama and the Gators lost to No. 8 Michigan at AT&T Stadium.

The University of Texas and West Virginia both dropped out after being ranked Nos. 23 and 22 in the pre-season poll.
