Four-star quarterback Justin Rogers of Bossier City, La., announced a commitment to TCU on Wednesday night.
He chose the Horned Frogs over LSU and North Carolina.
The 6-foot-4, 203-pound senior is rated the third-best quarterback in Louisiana and sixth-best dual-threat quarterback by 247Sports.
He fits the mold of a strong-armed quarterback who can also make plays on the run, which helped TCU to success under Trevone Boykin in the Air Raid offense in 2014 and 2015.
Never miss a local story.
Rogers is the seventh commitment in the 2018 class for TCU, joining South Grand Prairie safety Atanza Vongor and guard Esteban Avila, Smithson Valley cornerback Trevone Moehrig-Woodard, Manor defensive end Ochaun Mathis, Denton Guyer center John Lanz and Monroe, La., guard Devin Phillips.
