Watch: Car catches fire, causes explosion on Southlake highway

A car caught fire while driving Sunday afternoon on eastbound Highway 114 near White Chapel in Southlake, police said.

Video of the incident appears to show an explosion before the blaze quickly spreads to the surrounding grass. Two eastbound lanes of the highway were closed while emergency personnel responded.

Police said no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
