Voters in six cities head to the polls again Saturday
Voters head to the polls Saturday in Arlington, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Keller, Mansfield and River Oaks to decide winners in several runoff races from the May 6 local election.
In Fort Worth, Carlos Flores and Steve Thornton face off to replace Councilman Sal Espino, who chose not to run after serving six terms. And in Keller, voters will decide whether to return former Mayor Pat McGrail to office over Rick Barnes, who most recently served as a councilman.
Arlington, Haltom City, Mansfield and River Oaks are deciding council seats or school board races. More than 9,000 people have already voted.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Voters must bring required ID to the polls. Those include, a Texas driver’s license, a Texas Department of Public Safety-issued personal ID card, an election identification certificate, a license to carry, a U.S. military identification card with a photo, a U.S. citizenship certificate with a photo or a U.S. passport.
Anyone without an ID may bring a valid voter registration certificate, original birth certificate, bank statement or current utility bill and fill out a Reasonable Impediment Declaration.
