Swarovski heiress to auction off Westlake mansion next door to the Jonas Brothers
An heiress to the Swarovski crystal jewelery company is putting her 9,451-square-foot Westlake mansion in the oh-so toney Vaquero community up for auction.
The property is valued at over $3.8 million, according to the most recent data available from the Tarrant County Appraisal District, and the villa with crystal-adorned light fixtures sits in a popular neighborhood for local professional athletes and celebrities including the Jonas Brothers, if that’s your thing.
Vanessa Swarovski has enlisted Elite Auctions to run the bids for her mansion among mansions on June 30. The luxury property sits on 1.7 acres but has a surprisingly homey feel. It has been on the market for over a year after originally being listed for $3.69 million.
The estate features five bedrooms, eight full and one half bathrooms, including a steam shower in the master bath, a separate guest house, an excercise studio, conservatory, custom limestone and travertine flooring.
There are still several upcoming property previews this month, if you’re on the fence about unfolding that folding money for a bid. The final preview will take place the day before the auction, on June 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Westlake auction comes just two days after real estate tycoon John Goff’s Eagle Mountain Lake retreat is scheduled to be auctioned, so those that miss out on the lakeside mansion can fall back on this shiny Westlake gem.
Swarovski Group, based in Austria, is reportedly worth more than $3 billion.
