Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will be among 11 NFL players joining Grammy-winning recording artist Carrie Underwood for her performance of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” the opening theme for Sunday Night Football on NBC.

NBC’s first Sunday Night Football broadcast of the season has the defending NFC East champion Cowboys hosting the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sept. 13.

Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 6 p.m. CST, and the opening theme continues each week of the season to kick off Sunday Night Football.

The other players featured are New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor and quarterback Russell Wilson, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware, and Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.

Underwood will visit with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 10 to show a sneak peek of the opening theme and will also perform her new single “Smoke Break.”
