CeeDee Lamb says Micah Parsons is recruiting this Cowboy to sign with the Packers

The Dallas Cowboys traded star pass rusher Micah Parsons to the Packers at the beginning of the season and he is now trying to lure George Pickens to Green Bay — if wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is to be believed.

Lamb was on “Up & Adams,” with Kay Adams where he talked about Parsons making his pitch to Pickens, a pending free agent. .

“Everybody in my face, is trying to recruit him while I’m standing right next to him,” said Lamb, “Micah for one...I don’t know what’s going on with him. He’s a little too active to be on a scooter...but it’s a couple people that I feel like is definitely trying to get my man’s away from me.”

Quarterback Dak Prescott said the Cowboys must get a deal done with Pickens as the wide receiver notched career highs in catches (93), yards (1,429) and touchdowns (9) and has put himself in line for a major payday from the Cowboys or another team.

Lamb explained why he and Prescott want to keep Pickens in town.

“He’s a great player. He’s a phenomenal player, great person. He’s like my brother off the field, he’s like my brother on the field and I feel like those type of relationships, you don’t like it, don’t hit off like that every single time, especially in the league, a lot of people have families. A lot of people have kids, wives and people to attend to at home,” Lamb said. “So they have their own little thing. As for us, we’re obviously two young men in the league wanting to thrive.”

Earlier in the week Pickens said he would love to remain in Dallas but understands the NFL is a business.

“Definitely just kind of wait it out and hope for the best,” Pickens said. “I would love to [stay in Dallas]. But when you can’t control it, you kind of just hope for the best.”
