Former Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer announces new show on Netflix

The Playmaker is coming to Netflix on a new video podcast called “The White House with Michael Irvin,” which will also feature former NFL All-Pro Brandon Marshall.

The show, which will focus on game analysis, commentary and the latest news in the world of sports, will premiere on Monday and will feature a rotating cast of commentators alongside Marshall and Irvin.

“The White House” is a reference to a house in Irving on Dorsett Drive that was adjacent to the Cowboys’ facility and was known for raucous drug-filled parties frequented by adult film stars.

Talking to Tudum, Irvin explained why he chose to name his show after the infamous party house.

“We chose the name — ‘The White House’ — intentionally,” Irvin said. “In a crowded media landscape, recognition matters — and few names carry the same immediate weight. For better or worse, ‘The White House’ represents power, decision-making, and cultural relevance. It’s a name people recognize and are compelled to engage with.”
