Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones praises Micah Parsons in NBC pregame video
Micah Parsons is making his much-anticipated return to AT&T Stadium on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers play the Dallas Cowboys for the first time since the superstar pass rusher was traded before the season.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared in a social media video for “Sunday Night Football” that is expected to be part of the pregame show and said what he would say to Parsons if he could talk to him before the game.
“If I could say one thing to Micah Parsons before the game,” Jones said, “it would be that, No. 1, I know how we feel about each other, and how much I respect him, and what a great player that I think he is.”
“My expectations for him is to go out there and make some very significant plays,” Jones added. “He’ll do that, you know.”
The clip contrasts Parsons recording his first “Sunday Night Football” promo as a Cowboys rookie with one this week as a Packer.
“Ain’t no one talking about the trade,” he said. “We’re talking about winning a football game.”
Parsons has five tackles and 1.5 sacks in three games this season while helping Green Bay to a 2-1 record.
