Dallas Cowboys named as possible trade destination for All-Pro cornerback
A busy offseason could get busier for the Dallas Cowboys, who have been named as possible suitors for Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey, according to a report by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The Cowboys have already made multiple trades during the offseason, acquiring Kenneth Murray, George Pickens and Kaiir Elam.
Fowler also listed the Los Angeles Rams and the Washington Commanders as other possible suitors for the former All-Pro and stated the Dolphins had already had conversations about trading the Florida State product.
Ramsey is heading into his 10th season in the NFL and has seven Pro Bowl selections, three All-Pro selections and one Super Bowl title.
Last season, Ramsey played all 17 games and finished the season with 60 tackles, 11 passes defended and two interceptions.
Ramsey could help the Cowboys, who have questions at the cornerback position with Trevon Diggs recovering from a surgery related to a cartilageinjury, and their third-round draft pick Shavon Revel also coming back from an ACL injury, though the latter is expected to return by training camp in August.
Those injuries, coupled with the departure of Jordan Lewis to the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency, could make the Cowboys interested in pursuing a trade.
