Did Deion Sanders hint at interest in being next Dallas Cowboys coach with Instagram post?

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has been heavily connected to the Dallas Cowboys head coaching job since the Cowboys and Mike McCarthy announced they were parting ways.

A recent post on the Hall of Famer’s Instagram story raised eyebrows online.

In the clip that Sanders shared to his story on Thursday Boston Celtics legends Paul Peirce and Kevin Garnett advocated for Sanders to become head coach of the Dallas Cowboys on their show, “Ticket and the Truth,” saying he had to take the opportunity if offered.

“This is like a player coming from the culture that helped build the culture no better situation here bro,” said Garnett, “I ain’t even no Cowboys fan I’m a Deion fan...we all Deion supporters around here.”

“He the only one that can go there,” said Pierce, “If you got Vrabel going back to New England you gotta have Deion going back to Dallas.”

Reports from WFAA’s Ed Werder indicate that Sanders is interested and would accept the job if offered, and that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is in love with the idea.
