Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb sets NFL record during game against Washington Commanders

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb set a NFL record during the team’s game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

The record was the most consecutive games (44) with four or more receptions. You’d need to go back to 2022 for the last time when Lamb missed that mark.

Lamb set the record in the first quarter of the game off a seven-yard pass from quarterback Cooper Rush.

That game was a 19-3 season-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where Dak Prescott would leave with a hand injury while Lamb caught two passes for 29 yards.

The Cowboys came into Sunday’s game looking to snap their five-game losing streak and get their first road win since beating the Steelers 20-17 in October.
