Dallas Cowboys

Did Dallas quarterback use an expletive to describe Cowboys?

The Dallas Cowboys suffered their third straight defeat when they fell 27-21 to the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.

The loss dropped the Cowboys to 3-5 on the season which puts them 3.5 games behind the division-leading Washington Commanders (7-2).

Quarterback Dak Prescott left the game early in the fourth quarter after aggravating his hamstring. While on the sideline Prescott could be seen on the broadcast talking with backup Trey Lance and appeared to disparage the team’s performance according to lipreaders online.

“We [expletive] suck,” said Prescott.

There was no audio to confirm what Prescott was saying.

Prescott signed the richest contract in the history of the NFL, a four-year $240 million contract, and has struggled a year after learning his first NFL All-Pro selection, throwing for 1,978 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Prescott had thrown multiple interceptions in three straight games, the longest streak of his career, coming into this week’s game.

Cooper Rush came on in relief of Prescott and led one touchdown drive during his time behind center but couldn’t pull off the comeback victory.

The Cowboys will look to snap their losing streak next week when the team plays NFC East rival the Philadelphia Eagles at 3:25 p.m. on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
