Dallas Cowboys

Trey Lance scores first touchdown of his Dallas Cowboys career in win against Raiders.

Trey Lance scored the first touchdowns of his Dallas Cowboys career on Saturday with a one-yard pass to Ryan Flournoy with a little over a minute remaining in the first half.

The touchdown was the highlight of the day for Lance who threw for 151 passing yards and a touchdown while adding 34 yards and a rushing touchdown in the Dallas Cowboys 27-12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.

Lance was once again given most of the snaps at quarterback over veteran backup Cooper Rush, who was given the start.

The former North Dakota State product didn’t have a drive longer than six plays until his 14-play 79-yard touchdown drive and added a field goal drive shortly before the end of the first half.

It was a quiet second half for Lance until Lance’s second touchdown drive, a two-yard run, of the game which sealed the Cowboys’ victory.
