Does Jimmy Johnson think Ezekiel Elliott will have a big game against the Dallas Cowboys?
Ex-Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson was on FOX NFL SUNDAY and had trouble deciding if he thought the Dallas Cowboys or New England Patriots would win their matchup on Sunday.
Johnson initially picked the Dallas Cowboys predicting Ezekiel Elliott would have a big game in his return to Dallas.
“Ezekiel Elliott, I look for him to have a big game today,” said Johnson, “Ezekiel’s gonna have a big day, you look at it, I think it’s gonna be a low-scoring, it’s gonna be a low turnover game there’s not gonna be a bunch of big plays. That’s how the Patriots will win the game.”
But, later on in the show, Johnson would surprise by reversing course and picking the Cowboys to win a closely contested game.
“I said Patriots earlier, I think the Cowboys win it,” said Johnson, “Ezekiel Elliot will score a touchdown, but he’ll be a little bit short... they [The Patriots] will come up a little short.
Terry Bradshaw and Curt Menefee teased Johnson over his flip-flopping joking you’re not allowed to change your pick mid-show.
