The Arizona Cardinals beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. The scoring rundown:

SCORING

FOURTH QUARTER

ARIZONA responds quickly when Joshua Dobbs connects with Marquise Brown for a 2-yard touchdown pass. Matt Prater’s extra point gives Cardinals a 28-16 lead with 7:22 left.

DALLAS’ Brandon Aubrey makes another field goal, this time from 26 yards out and the Cowboys trail 21-16 with 9:33 left.

THIRD QUARTER

DALLAS takes opening kickoff and drives down the field to get on the scoreboard on another Brandon Aubrey field goal. This one from 27 yards with 9:27 left in the quarter. Cowboys trail 21-13.

SECOND QUARTER

ARIZONA gets a third field goal by Matt Prater, this one from 62 yards as time expired in the half. Cardinals lead 21-10. Shocker in Glendale so far.

ARIZONA gets another field goal by Matt Prater, this time from 43 yards with 1:28 left in the second quarter for an 18-10 Cardinals’ lead.

DALLAS pulls within 15-10 when Dak Prescott connects on a 15-yard pass to Rico Dowdle with 5:32 left in the quarter. Brandon Aubrey’s extra point trims the Cardinals’ score to 15-10 with 5:32 left in the half.

ARIZONA pulls ahead 15-3 when Rondale Moore runs 45 yards for a touchdown. The two-point conversion fails again, but the Cardinals lead 15-3 with 12:31 left in the quarter.

FIRST QUARTER

DALLAS gets on the scoreboard as Brandon Aubrey boots a 49-yard field goal with 1:48 left in the quarter. Cardinals lead 9-3.

ARIZONA extends their lead to 9-0 on a James Conner 5-yard touchdown run. Prather’s kick gives Cardinals two scores in two possessions. (They fail on the two-point conversion). 9-0 with 6:12 left in the quarter.

ARIZONA takes a 3-0 lead on a Matt Prater 39-yard field goal, capping the Cardinals’ game-opening drive.
