Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin settles suit with Marriott, back on with NFL Network

The start of the NFL season is here and former Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin is back on the air with the NFL Network.

Per a Dallas Morning News report Irvin has settled his $100 million defamation lawsuit with Marriott over an incident at the hotel before the Super Bowl in Phoenix last February, which resulted in his suspension.

With the litigation off the table, Irvin is no longer suspended by NFL Media, paving the way for his return to the NFL Network Sunday

Sources confirm that Irvin is the building and will appear on NFL Network’s Game Day studio show this morning.

Irvin was removed the air after he was accused of misconduct by a Marriott Hotel employee during the week of the Super Bowl.

Irvin denied the allegations and sued Marriott for $100 million while comparing the accusation to a lynching.

Video from the incident was shown by Irvin and his lawyer which they claim proved Irvin’s innocence.

There are no details on the settlement.

But Irvin is back.
