Why did Rob Gronkowski pick the Dallas Cowboys to win the Super Bowl?
Four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski was asked on “Up & Adams” which team he would bet on to win this year’s Super Bowl.
Gronkowski chose the Dallas Cowboys and then explained his selection citing upgrades the Cowboys made during the offseason.
Gronkowski specifically mentioned the signings of Brandin Cooks and Stephon Gilmore.
“They added Brandin Cooks at the wide receiver position, super fast player that can go downfield. He’ll be a great complement to CeeDee Lamb, and also they added Stephon Gilmore... he was defensive player of the year a couple of years ago, and I think he’s gonna make a great comeback this year,” said Gronkowski.
The ex-New England Patriot concluded by saying this was the year the Cowboys could finally get over the hump and win their first championship in over two decades.
