Which Dallas Cowboys legend will receive a new docuseries on Netflix?
According to Matthew Belloni of Puck.news, Netflix has reportedly bought the rights to a docuseries about Jerry Jones and ‘90s Dallas Cowboys for $50 million.
The Dallas Cowboys of the ’90s won three Super Bowls en route to becoming one of the most iconic teams in NFL history.
The docuseries will have never seen footage from Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin while focusing on the team’s success in the 90s and Jones’ 30-plus year reign as owner of the Cowboys providing never seen footage.
The documentary also features former president George W. Bush and Nike founder Phil Night.
The new Jerry Jones documentary has already drawn comparisons to ESPN’s ‘The Last Dance’ which captivated audiences in 2020.
The 10-episode show will be produced by NFL Films in conjunction with Skydance Sports.
