Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott continues giving back with ‘Everyone Eats’ golf ball
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott continues his push to give back to the city of Dallas and the North Texas community.
Elliott and OnCore Golf, which the running back joined as a shareholder a couple of weeks ago, announced Thursday that they were releasing a special, limited-edition “Everyone Eats” logo golf ball.
A portion of the proceeds from every sale will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank, a not-for-profit organization focused on addressing the needs of those struggling to feed themselves and their families.
“I am privileged to be able to use my platform to help those in need in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area,” stated Elliott in a press release. “During the season, our fans support us through all of our ups and downs, so it is with great pleasure that I can do the same for them. Being able to contribute and support an organization like the North Texas Food Bank and our community throughout these unprecedented times is extremely important to me.”
Said Bret Blakely, co-founder and Vice President of OnCore Golf:”The challenges created by COVID-19 have increased in severity and extent. Our hope is that our contributions are able to make a difference to families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who may have lost their jobs or find themselves in difficult circumstances. We are very happy to join Zeke in his ‘Everyone Eats’ initiative.”
The limited-edition “Everyone Eats” golf ball can be purchased at https://promo.oncoregolf.com/zekegolfball/ and will be available across OnCore’s full suite of award-winning golf balls - AVANT55 ($24.99), ELIXR™ ($34.99) and VERO X1 ($44.99).
It includes free shipping and handling on orders of $50 or more.
Already this off season, Elliott, known for his feed me gesture, has donated $85,000 to the North Texas Food Bank to potentially help feed 400,000 families in need.
It was the result of a collaboration with Dallas-based CentreTx to release exclusive merchandise with 100 percent of proceeds going to the North Texas Food Bank to provide relief to the North Texas community during the COVID-19.
And then last month Elliott visited South Oak Cliff’s football program in Dallas. In addition to giving a talk to the team, he donated more than 200 items, including sneakers and clothing apparel.
