Dallas Cowboys will be Super Bowl contenders in 2020, according to early odds
Next season is already looking up for the Dallas Cowboys.
Only five teams are given better odds than the Cowboys to win Super Bowl LV next season, according to BetOnline.
A year ago at this time, the Cowboys had the 12th-best odds to win the Super Bowl at 22 to 1.
The Kansas City Chiefs, who are still trying to get to the Super Bowl this season, lead the league at 7 to 1 odds. They’re followed by the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers (both at 8 to 1), the New England Patriots (12 to 1) and the New Orleans Saints (14 to 1).
Vegas doesn’t expect much from the rest of the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles are listed at 33/1, the New York Giants are 66/1 and the Washington Redskins are tied with the Bengals, Lions and Dolphins with the lowest odds to win next season’s Super Bowl at 100 to 1.
So in a nutshell, Vegas seems to think under new head coach Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys will be the third best team in the NFC in 2020. They were predicted as the seventh best NFC team at this time a year ago. That pretty much nailed it.
