Dallas Cowboys

The waiting game continues. Will the Dallas Cowboys decide Jason Garrett’s fate on Thursday?

The Jason Garrett watch will continue for at least another day.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones owner and vice president Stephen Jones did not meet with Garrett on Wednesday after huddling with him Monday and Tuesday without coming to resolution about his future.

A decision should come on Thursday when the two sides are expected to meet again, per a source.

But nothing is a guarantee at this point, as the situation remains in limbo heading into four days since the 2019 season ended with an 8-8 mark for the fourth time Garrett’s nine full seasons as head coach.

Garrett’s contract expires on Jan. 14 and he is not expected to get a new one.

Garrett went 85-67 in 9 1/2 seasons, making the postseason three times with three NFC East titles and winning two playoff games.
