Watch a Dallas Cowboys lineman surprise his mom with the best Christmas gift ever

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman La’el Collins always dreamed playing in the NFL.

The five-year veteran from LSU also had another dream. He fulfilled it on Christmas Eve.

Collins surprised his mother Loyetta with a new home in Baton Rouge, La., according to a video report from brproud.com.

“I was astonished,” Loyetta Collins said. “I’m truly overwhelmed. This has truly been an awesome Christmas for me.”

The moment left La’el Collins, who signed a five-year, $50 million contract extension before this season, lost for words. “This is a special moment,” he said. “I’m so happy. Just extremely blessed to be in a position to be able to do this for my family. It was always a dream, and just to be able to make that happen, nothing compares.”

Mom said she was feeling the Christmas spirit before the surprise.

“Every day is a day of Thanksgiving. I don’t wait until holidays to celebrate because God is good every day,” she said. “I am truly blessed, and I’m grateful to God that he allowed this to happen. I told God not my will but your will to be done in this situation. You know, he made a way.”
