Ezekiel Elliott’s dad facing 21 charges, including animal cruelty

Ezekiel Elliott’s dad seems like a great guy.

Not really.

Stacy Elliott was charged with 21 counts stemming from an October incident in which his wild cat allegedly attacked a neighbor’s dog in Ohio.

The charges include allowing a dangerous wild animal to escape, failure to notify of a dangerous wild animal escape and possession of a dangerous wild animal.

Elliott denied owning the African wild cat, but a microchip embedded in the cat, also known as a serval, showed that he had purchased the animal.

The cat got loose in Violet Township, Ohio, on Oct. 13 and allegedly attacked the neighbor’s dog.

He faces nice charges from the Department of Agriculture and 12 charges from other local agencies, including the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Fairfield Area Humane Society and the Fairfield County dog warden, according to the Columbus Post-Dispatch.

The Ohio State Department of Agriculture chief investigator David Hunt told ABC affiliate WSYX in Columbus, Ohio, that the Humane Society charged Elliott for alleged animal mistreatment and neglect. The serval was “grossly underweight,” Hunt said.
