Another hard-hitting safety is expected to visit the Dallas Cowboys on Friday
The safety dance is continuing for the Dallas Cowboys, who hosted two free agents on visits earlier this week and has a third set for Friday, according to sources.
Former Bengals safety George Iloka will visit the team’s headquarters on Friday.
Clayton Geathers came on Monday. Eric Berry visited on Tuesday.
Both left without contracts. Geathers re-signed with the Colts and Berry, who was cut by the Chiefs last week, is weighing his options.
So the Cowboys are looking at Iloka in a continued effort to upgrade the safety position.
Iloka, 29, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Bengals before playing for the Vikings last season.
He is a hard hitter and sure tackler who could replace Jeff Heath at strong safety opposite free safety Xavier Woods.
