The Dallas Cowboys offense was shutout in the first half for the second time in 2018 as the Indianapolis Colts took a 10-0 lead into halftime.

The Cowboys’ offense has moved the ball but has fizzled in Indy territory. A Brett Maher 48-yard field goal attempt on Dallas’ first possession was blocked. Initially, the Colts returned the block for a touchdown but after a replay review it was called back and they took over on their own 44.

Andrew Luck led an eight-play scoring drive capped by a one-yard scoring run by Marlin Mack.

The Colts added a 43-yard field goal as time expired before halftime to take a 10-0 lead.

Both teams have 12 first downs but Dallas outgained Indy 179 to 170. The Cowboys have a nine minute time of possession edge. The game has been marred with nine penalties, 5 for 44 yards against the Cowboys and 4 for 45 yards against the Colts.

Ezekiel Elliott had 64 yards on 13 carries. Elliott and tight end Dalton Schultz both had three catches for 23 yards. Dak Prescott was 12 of 19 for 106 yards in the first half.
