Cowboys hopeful receiver’s foot injury isn’t a long-term issue
Dallas Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley sprained his foot in Thursday’s win against the New Orleans Saints.
Cowboys’ coach Jason Garrett said he hopeful “it’s not going to be a long-term thing.”
Beasley injured his foot on a 3rd down conversion in the fourth quarter in which he caught a five-yard pass for a first down. He came up limping and did not have any more targets in the game.
Beasley has two catches for nine yards in the 13-10 win. He leads the Cowboys with 468 receiving yards on 48 receptions.
The Cowboys (7-5) don’t play until Dec. 9 when they host the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium. The nine days off may give Beasley enough time to recover if it’s not too serious.
