‘The more he’s criticized, the darker his soul gets’: Fans rip Jerry’s ‘hurt’ feelings

Charlotte Jones Anderson might’ve gotten Jerry Jones in a bit of trouble.

During an interview with the Star-Telegram Tuesday, here’s what the Dallas Cowboys’ executive vice president and chief brand officer said about fans’ criticism of her father.

“The misnomer would be that he doesn’t care about the criticism,” Jones Anderson said. “He cares a lot. Nobody likes to be criticized. He takes a ton of criticism. The criticism hurts. He doesn’t like to not be liked. That hurts anybody. It hurts him.”

On social media platforms like Twitter and reddit, fans of the Cowboys and other teams did not take too kindly to those words.
